Our Story
Our journey has been defined by a dedication to customer satisfaction and exceptional craftsmanship. This consistent focus has earned us a strong reputation in the high-end market, distinguishing us as a trusted leader in custom pool design and construction in the DFW and surrounding North Texas areas.
After several years of working in pool construction, our founder, Sam Swingle, decided to establish Watercrest Pools to bring a fresh perspective to the industry. Watercrest Pools was founded in November of 2007 with a vision to create exceptional custom pools for homeowners. This vision grew to include the entire outdoor area, leading to innovations in custom outdoor living designs. From outdoor kitchens and manicured play areas to custom putting greens and sport courts; anything a customer can imagine, we make happen.
Starting with just 10 pools a year, we operated as a small, dedicated team with Sam and his wife, Charlotte, managing all aspects of design, sales, and project supervision. Today we have over 10 dedicated professionals who are passionate about well-made and beautifully designed pools and outdoor areas.

Over the years, we’ve expanded gradually, building a team of customer-focused professionals who have helped us become a preferred custom pool builder in the DFW area.
Our team is composed of highly trained professionals passionate about creating unique, well-designed pools. Every member of the team brings valuable experience to the table, with project consultants required to spend at least one year in the field before transitioning to sales.
We empower our team members to make project-specific decisions to ensure efficient, customer-centered service. This approach has fostered a team that is both collaborative and capable of handling the demands of luxury custom pool and outdoor living projects.
